Ethan's Birthday Party

Have I mentioned lately how grateful I am for boys? If not, allow me too now. They are so simple! They just don't care about the silly things that girls care about, and I am thinking how much simpler life may just be if I stopped caring about a lot of petty stuff too....anyway continuing on to the birthday. Ethan had a great birthday Friday and Saturday, Friday we gave him a set of Incredible Hulk PJ's which he put on as soon as he opened them. Grandma and Grandpa Lillywhite gave him Superman PJ's w hich will also be his halloween costume, which is really really awesome, i love things like that. They also gave him new Batman shoes which is great because his shoes finally broke that very day! Are we catching the trend of what my three year old is into??? Ok...mommy totally pushed him that direction because mommy loves superheros too :). Continuing on, Saturday Bryan and Ashlyn came over to play, and that was I think one of the highlights of the day for him. they were running around, screaming, yelling, pretending to be Hulk, and climbing like monkeys on the bunk beds. Then everyone came over for the party thing and the blessed HULK CAKE ARRIVED!!!!!

There were lots of oh wows and lots of Ethan trying to climb up on the counter to show Bryan how cool it was. It was very fun to have Corinne, Bryan, Ashlyn, Jennifer, MOM (Powell), MOM (Lillywhite), DAD (Lillywhite), and later Valerie there for the fun. Grandma Powell also gave Ethan...surprise surpise...HULK Action Figure,

and....yes another superhero....a Spiderman shirt!!!!! Ethan was extatic I can't even describe. Then came time for the song and cake, Ethan was so happy he was singing along, and blowing out the candles prematurely.

How much fun he had made everything worth it, I don't know if I have ever seen him so happy and that made me very happy too. Thanks to everyone who came and who helped, it would not have been as fun without you!! I will put pictures on later today when I wake up being as I am at work right now, they are great.
